Art classes for all ages
Art classes should be both educational and fun! In our studio we make sure to learn actual professional skills, try different materials and techniques while enjoying ourselves. The students make artworks of their favourite characters, create stories and illustrations, make new friends, chat and laugh. Whatever level of skills they have at the start, everyone is welcome. Art makes lives brighter, develops creative skills, teaches better coordination and perception, and gives the kids new ways to express themselves.
WHAT DO THE CLASSES LOOK LIKE?
The classes last for one hour per week. Throughout the year students work with different drawing and painting techniques, study proportions and perspective, do figure drawings and learn to be able to draw anything! They work with portraits, landscapes and still lifes, while also occasionally making fan art, comics, patterns and designs.
Students work in small groups of 4-8 people and get individual attention from the teacher, as well as an opportunity to meet like+minded friends.
Frankie is a professional artist and a teacher with extended experience of working with children and teenagers.
Students get professional advice and a friendly encouraging atmosphere!
GROUPS
7-11 years old
These classes will teach the kids the basics of realistic drawing and painting. They will learn to make objects look 3d, draw different animals and plants, mix the right colours for painting even the most complicated things. They will study the human form and face, draw portraits and learn proportions. They will also develop their creativity, making up imaginary fantasy creatures, designing their dream house and an amusement park!
12-17 years old
The classes for teenagers will teach the students to work with shading and dimension, build perspective in a landscape, paint portraits in different techniques, study anatomy of animals and humans. The teenagers also get to make fan art of their favourite characters, paint funniest memes, create portraits of their friends and make book illustrations. The classes are for any skill level: individual approach will allow even complete beginners learn quickly and without worries or confusion.
